Successful agricultural financing models work best when both the financial (supply side) and agricultural (demand side) value chains are enhanced. Many Agribusiness and value chain actors such as input dealers, processors, transporters, tractors service providers lack the capacity to prioritize their business needs and give clearer financial information on their businesses to attract investment from financial information on their businesses to attract investment and lack of appropriate records keeping system.

Bank and mobile money agents on the other hand require sales, customer service and human management skills to attract new customer and sustain old ones. Bank agent should be abreast of anti-money laundering policies, mobile money scams, fraud detection and fraud management skills. To address these challenges, First Allied is calling for proposals from Agribusiness/Small & Medium Enterprise Management consultant to assist in training of its Agribusiness, SMEs clients and bank agent on business management skills.
